Product Health
See what is wrong with the product catalog, decide what to do with each case, and keep the record.
Where to configure
The Product Health app → Configuration → Settings (thresholds). Odoo administrators see it already; give anyone else the Product Health group in Settings → Users.
What it is
A decision aid for the product catalog, built for a migration and for the years after it. It reads products, sales, purchases, invoices and stock. It never changes a product.
What it does
- Findings — one per concrete problem, with its own reference and detection time.
- Rules — duplicate reference, same name, copy left behind, no reference, below cost, symbolic price, unused in stock, unused without stock, variant candidate.
- Decisions — migrate, merge, archive, fix, ignore; who and when.
- Products — use, last use, stock, open findings and the migration proposal.
- Overview — one card per rule.
- Plugs — composite products and equipment come from other modules.
What it does not do
- Merge, archive or reprice products. It records the decision; a person carries it out.
- Know about composite products or equipment by itself.
