Dossier

Collect the attachments of any record, put them in order, and get one PDF or one ZIP.

Where to configure

Nothing to configure. Who uses it is a group, under Settings → Users → Dossier: User keeps a bag and sees their own files; Administrator also sees everyone's files. Without a group there is no menu, tray icon or Action entry. On install only admin has it.

What it is

A bag of attachments per user, for one-off jobs: a historic report, a tax office request. It points at the original files; it does not copy them. It only takes what the user can already open.

What it does

Add to dossier — in the Action menu of any form, and of any list with rows selected.
Panel — from the tray icon: list or thumbnails, drag to order, turn a picture or PDF a quarter, remove, empty.

Generate — PDF (pictures and PDFs, page after page) or ZIP (every file, numbered), named with the short name you write, or one of your last ten. A bar shows how far it got; Cancel stops it.
History — the generated files, with their description (menu Dossier → History, or the History button of the panel).

What it does not do

Several dossiers at once: there is one bag per user.
Delete generated files on its own.
Edit the papers: they go in as they are, only turned if you turned them.

Where to configure

Nothing to configure. Dossier → History holds the generated files.
